Hi everyone – its me again – Pierre
Summer has finally started here where I live and I’m so happy. My garden is so pretty this time of year. I’ve been making sure no nasty birds come poop in it. Baby Andre is not allowed to go out there unless my Mom is there with him because he tried to climb the wisteria bush.
We had a terrible heat wave here. My mom said that the temperature where my brother Lex the horse lives went up to 47C. It was so hot here that the wood floors in my condo were hot even at midnight. Some of my flowers died buy my mom got some new ones and they are even prettier! There is only one room with air conditioning in my condo and Baby Andre had to be in there all the time because he has a heart problem. My mom said I couldn’t go in when he was in there because I’m too nasty to him so we had to take turns. I’m not nasty – I just don’t like him!
My mom set up my bedroom to keep me as cool as possible. I had two fans that were blowing on me just the exact right amount. She filled the bathtub with cold water to keep my room cooler and my dad put tinfoil up on the windows to keep the heat from coming in.
Want to hear something funny?? Baby Andre was acting very naughty and he wouldn’t stop running through the condo and he got really hot and started panting so my mom grabbed him and dunked him in the bathtub full of water. He was so surprised and I laughed and laughed. That’ll teach him!

Pierre….You have a beautiful garden! I’m so glad you were able to keep cool. My grandkitty Henry likes to sleep on his mom’s air conditioner when it’s hot out!

I am glad you were able to keep cool with fans. Your poor brother Harley kept on needing to be hosed off like Lex! I am glad you did not need that. I stayed at home and lay on the tile floor and sent my human off to work keeping the ponies cool. Love your garden.

Pierre you should be here. I have a big garden, lots of trees and it’s very hot and try. Your mom loves our weather. Just ask her.
